Clear Lend Capital Private Limited is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The RBI and the law require us to know who we lend to. This is called Know Your Customer (KYC). It also helps keep you and us safe from fraud and money laundering. This page summarises our KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy. It was approved by the Board on 10-Aug-2026.
We verify every borrower, co-borrower and guarantor, anyone who gives us a security cheque, anyone who signs for a business, and the real owners of a business.
· Individuals (proprietors, partners, directors, guarantors): proof of identity and address, such as a passport, driving licence, voter ID or Aadhaar; your PAN (or Form 60 if you have no PAN); and a recent photograph.
· Businesses: the business PAN, proof that the business exists (such as a GST registration or shop licence), and the documents that match its type: the certificate of incorporation and Board resolution for a company, the partnership deed or LLP agreement for a firm, or the trust deed and registration for a trust. We also ask for details of the owners and the people who sign for the business.
Aadhaar is not compulsory. You may give it voluntarily. Where we keep copies of documents, we check them against the originals first.
· We check your documents against the originals, or electronically, with your consent, through DigiLocker, the Aadhaar authentication service, the Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCR) and official government databases.
· We verify your PAN, and your GST number where you have one, on the official government portals.
· We may retrieve your KYC record from, and update it in, the Central KYC Records Registry, as the law requires.
· We ask only for what the rules require. We ask for anything more only with your clear consent.
· We keep your information confidential, and share it only as the law allows.
· We do not give a loan until KYC is complete. We cannot waive KYC for anyone.
· If we have to say no for a KYC reason, we record the reason.
We may ask you to update your KYC from time to time, and we will tell you in advance and explain how. Please tell us within 30 days if any of your documents change, for example your address or the details of your business.
· Pay by cheque or electronic transfer from your own account (or the guarantor’s account).
· If you need to pay in cash, you may do so at our office, and we give you a receipt. The law does not allow us to accept ₹2 lakh or more in cash in a day, or towards one instalment. Pay any balance by cheque or electronic transfer.
· Our brokers and Direct Selling Agents cannot collect money for us.
We must report certain transactions to the Financial Intelligence Unit – India (FIU-IND), and we screen customers against official sanctions lists. The law may stop us from telling a customer about a report.
